Trekking permits available from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Trekking starts at 8:00 AM.

Getting There

4-5 hour drive from Kampala (300km) via Fort Portal. Flights to Kasese then 2-hour drive.

Best Time

All year, but best trekking conditions: December-February and June-September

Weather

Alpine climate: 5-15°C. Snow possible year-round, wettest March-May and September-November.
